Redesigned Metro Magazine reflects Metro State College of Denver alumni input

By now, you should have received the fall edition of Metro Magazine, the College’s publication for alumni, donors, community leaders and other Metro State supporters. The magazine is sporting a new, edgier design and has the kind of compelling stories that match its striking new look—changes based on feedback from alumni through focus groups and an online survey in 2008.

The cover story, “Degrees of Impact,” features the wonderful work that faculty and students are doing in the community; for instance, Affiliate Management Professor Howie Flomberg’s students who raised money for a well in Kenya and Psychology/Women’s Studies Professor A. J. Steele’s volunteerism with the Polaris Project to fight human trafficking. An added feature is a multimedia piece with Steele is available here.
